2. Website Hosting Through Cloudflare Pages
This website is provided as a static website through Cloudflare Pages. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When you visit this website, technically necessary connection data may be processed, including IP address, date and time of access, requested file, transferred data volume, browser and operating system information, and server log data. This processing is necessary to deliver the website securely, reliably, and quickly.
The legal basis under the GDPR is Art. 6(1)(f). The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable delivery of this website. More information is available in Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
3. No Website Cookies, Analytics, or External Fonts
This website does not set its own cookies, does not use website analytics, does not use advertising trackers, and does not load fonts from external font providers.
If contact forms, newsletters, analytics, embedded media, or other external content are added later, this privacy policy must be updated before those features go live.
4. Contact By Email
If you contact me by email, the data you provide is processed to answer your request. This usually includes your email address, the content of your message, and technical email metadata.
The legal basis under the GDPR is Art. 6(1)(f). For pre-contractual or contractual matters, Art. 6(1)(b) may apply. Emails are deleted when they are no longer needed and no legal retention obligations apply.
5. Anonymous Game Statistics
Demagogue collects anonymous game statistics through a minimal TelemetryDeck interface, provided by TelemetryDeck GmbH, Augsburg, Germany, to improve balancing, stability, and the player experience. You can turn this off in the app settings under Anonymous Statistics.
The regular TelemetryDeck SDK is not initialized for this. This avoids automatically sending device model, operating system, language, session, or user identifier data through SDK defaults.
The telemetry payload is limited to allowlisted gameplay and technical data such as difficulty, game mode, legislative-period progress, app version, static catalog IDs for game content, coarse dashboard buckets, aggregated election and balancing values, anonymous paywall events, and technical savegame compatibility counts.
The app does not send device model, operating system version, language, region, locale, time zone, screen data, session IDs, user IDs, run IDs, exact sequential run numbers, player names, party names, dynamic sandbox party IDs, crisis titles, article or message text, exact crisis spawn ticks, save files, savegames, file paths, advertising IDs, Store or RevenueCat customer identifiers, transaction or receipt IDs, store tokens, price data, or currency data as telemetry payload fields. With every internet connection, the sender IP address is technically visible to the server; the app does not send it as a data field and does not store it.

6. Advertising
Demagogue shows occasional full-screen ads, for example after a legislative period before the election result, through Google AdMob, provided by Google.
To deliver and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may process technical data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, app and device information, and ad interactions. With your consent, ads may be personalized; without consent, you will see non-personalized ads where available. On first launch, the app asks for consent through Google's User Messaging Platform. You can remove ads permanently by purchasing the full version.

7. In-App Purchases
Demagogue offers optional in-app purchases through the respective app store. Payments are processed by Apple or Google. Payment data such as credit card numbers, bank details, or app store account information is not transmitted to the provider of this app.
To verify purchases, manage purchase status, unlock purchased content, and restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA). Technical purchase data such as product ID, purchase status, transaction or receipt information, store purchase token, app-specific user identifier, platform, app version, and country/region may be processed. RevenueCat processes this data as a service provider on behalf of the app provider.

9. Your Rights
Where personal data is processed, you can contact kontakt.volksvertreter@protonmail.com at any time for requests for access, correction, or deletion.
Deletion requests can be submitted by email. We delete all data that can be associated with the request. Fully anonymized statistics data cannot be associated with individual users and therefore cannot be deleted individually.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
